Team

Chuck became CEO of One East Kentucky in May of 2015. As CEO he is charged with championing the OEK region for business recruitment purposes and working closely with partners throughout the nine county service territory. Prior to taking this leadership role, he spent nearly 5 years as Director of Economic Development in Paducah, KY. As part of Team Paducah, Chuck worked in recruitment, marketing, existing industry, and entrepreneurship development. The organization successfully recruited 1200 new jobs and over $90 Million in new investment during his time there.
Chuck is also extremely active in the Economic Development field:

• Serves as Kentucky State Director for the Southern Economic Development Council

• Serves on the executive board as Atlantic Regional Director for the Southern Economic Development Council

• Serves as Secretary/Treasurer on the executive board for the Kentucky Association for Economic Development

• Chairman of KAED Finance Committee

• Pursuing the Certified Economic Developer Designation through Oklahoma University’s Economic Development Institute

A beautiful 1,131 acre man-made lake that is used as flood control for the Ohio and Big Sandy Rivers. The park provides many opportunities for boating, fishing, hiking, playgrounds, and shelters for large gatherings.

A beautiful, 4,600 acre park that stretches over Kentucky and Virginia. It is known as the “Grand Canyon of the South” for its 5-mile gorge that is the deepest east of the Mississippi River. There are 25 miles of trails in the park as well as mountain biking trails, horseback riding, fishing, boating, and white water rafting. The park has 2 lakes, a river, a water park, and an 18-hole golf course. For lodging, the park offers an 81-room lodge overlooking the gorge, lake front cabins, and cottages to rent.
